Te Manawa Museum of Art, Science and Heritage works beyond boundaries to create personal experiences that touch us emotionally, inspire us creatively and give life and mana to the collective heritage of our diverse communities. Together we forge everlasting connections with the people of Manawatū and beyond.
We’re looking for someone who can help tell our stories in dynamic and innovative ways using the power of visual media in an ever-growing digital environment. You’ll be a skilled photographer and videographer with a keen eye for detail and innovation to capture the perfect shot. You’ll thrive on interacting with people to bring out their best on film, and you’ll be able to help shape narratives into digital featurettes that engage people with the work we do.
You’ll also know how to run a campaign with your proven experience in Marketing, able to shape and deliver targeted advertising to promote our stories and programmes far and wide. You’ll relish the challenge to seize every opportunity to grow public participation in our ever-changing programme of events and exhibitions.
From dinosaurs to robots and contemporary art, no two days are the same here. You'll be comfortable managing deadlines, solving challenges and putting the needs of our audience first. As a member of the Communications and Marketing team, you’ll be actively contributing across every area of the Museum lending your skills and advice with professionalism and collaboration.
