Te Manawa Museum is after a smart, savvy and self-motivated Fundraising Administrator to support its revenue generating efforts.
You’ll help fundraise at the heart of an exciting new multi-million-dollar project as a key part in the machine that’s building a brand-new Science Centre for our region. You’ll support our project team and wider staff.
You’ll thrive on seeking out new grants and opportunities, be a keen writer to help craft our applications, and maintain a database of potential funders to enable our success.
This is a one-year fixed term position, primarily supporting the Science Centre development project, but the role will assist with operational funding as well. Further, the scope exists to assist in other areas of the organisation as capacity allows. Start date is negotiable, but we need you sooner rather than later!
- 2+ years’ experience in administration is highly desirable
- Experience in fundraising is an advantage
The role is expected to take at least 30 hours a fortnight. It is one-year fixed-term.
Te Manawa Museum is the cultural heart of our region, responsible for inspiring exhibitions, innovative learning programmes, and exciting and inclusive events. It is a place that values openness and is led with a spirit of Manaakitanga.
We are passionate and excited about the collections we care for, and the experiences we shape with them. Those experiences touch us emotionally, inspire us creatively and give life and mana to our collective heritage – making our region an exciting place to live, work and play.
