Te Manawa - Museum of Art, Science and Heritage is alive with colour, noise and activity.  We stimulate and inspire our community and visitors, providing unique and fun experiences which explore our identity, creativity and ingenuity.

We are looking for awesome people to be hosts for a new upcoming exhibition called “Air Playground”.  Hosts should be friendly, engaging, responsible and with endless energy and a love for seeing visitors learning while playing.

Hosts will assist to make an unforgettable experience for everyone who visits Air Playground.  You will be responsible for meeting and greeting visitors, monitoring the “Squish” interactive to ensure all health and safety protocols are being followed, providing information, and answering questions. You will enjoy working with children, are outgoing and enthusiastic, have excellent communication skills, and experience in a customer service role.

Air Playground will be open, seven days a week, from 16 May 2026 to 11 October 2026. Starting date will be 12 May 2026.

Hosts will work 9.45am to 1.30pm and 1.30pm to 5.15pm, over seven days, on a rostered shift system.
